1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Negotia collects the following information when installed on a Shopify store:
- Store domain and OAuth access token
- Anonymous conversation session data
- Product information from your Shopify catalog - Negotiation outcomes (final prices, discount codes issued) We do NOT collect or store any personal information about shoppers (no names, emails, or payment details).
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use collected information to:
- Provide the negotiation chatbot service
- Generate discount codes via the Shopify API
- Provide merchants with conversation analytics
- Improve our AI negotiation models
3. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties except:
- Anthropic (our AI provider) — receives conversation text to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies.
- Shopify — we communicate with Shopify APIs as required to deliver our service.
4. DATA RETENTION
Conversation data is retained for 90 days then automatically deleted. Merchant account data is retained while the app is installed and for 30 days after uninstallation.
5. MERCHANT RIGHTS Merchants may request deletion of all their data by contacting us at: Enquiries@negotia.au
6. SECURITY All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access tokens are stored encrypted in our database.
